(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - fishing day

On the last days of our vacation we spent a couple of evenings at the beach.

I love watching the sun set over the water, when almost everyone has gone home, and quietly enjoy the end of the day.

On one of the days, however,, some fishermen were bringing one of their nets ashore and a huge crowd gathered to watch. My kids, obviously, had to join the party.

Pulling the nets...

All in all, a great evening. And the best thing? They were selling the fish right there on the beach and we got some some of it to take home!

Enjoy the rest of your week,

  1. Wow, send some of those fish my way. My husband is a fisherman and he says there are hardly any fish left in the sea. At least you have lots there.

    1. Not really. But once most of the fish were gone, the quiet returned and we could enjoy the rest of the sunset!
